Computer controlled "Digital Positioning System" enables setups in under ten minutes. Slitter induced stress is minimized, which improves product quality. The "Camber Trac" system assures that camber is not cut into the coil, which ensures parallel edges. The "Quad Tensioner" multiple strip tensioning unit is designed to provide winding tension (eliminating marking) and arbor deflection is eliminated resulting in a high-quality cut.
The company can provide precision blanks that meet exact specifications and tolerances with width and length tolerances as close as + or - .005". Customers' capital investment is reduced by eliminiating in-house re-square shearing and blanking operations. Advanced corrective leveling capabilities provide optimum flatness. Levels, slits and cuts are made to length all in one operation for quicker turnaround.
High Steel Service Center has shearing capability - 26 gauge through 5/8" thick material. The automated handling equipment and CNC programmable shears provide operating efficiencies to help reduce customers' total costs while improving the level of quality for their finished parts
